Progress Review: 2019 Goals - Last 6 Months

It's already the last Sunday of the year, and it's time to review the progress of June-December goals.

Personal
1) Exercise weekly, at least 30 minutes. - I've been exercising more after I bought the exercise bike, but I didn't do much in the first several months. So I'd say that the success rate is about 20%.
2) Spend more time learning to crochet. I'm very happy with what I've achieved so far. These are the things I've crocheted. I'm giving 100%  success rate for this one.
3) Continue to get at least 7 hours of sleep. I'm giving this about 90% success rate.

Home
1) Organize the spare room.  Yay! It's completely done! Now I want to keep it that way.
2) Sell unwanted items on Craigslist or have a yard sale. I decided to donate the items to a thrift store.
3) Add one cupboard in the kitchen. Done.

Garden
1) Plant Norfolk Island Pines. Not done. One tree died after I planted it. I have two more, still in pots.
2) Plant mango, citrus and neem in the ground. Not done.
3) Hang flower baskets in the front porch. Done.
4) Install the side fence. - Not done.

Financial
1) Make at least one extra  mortgage paymentMade one extra mortgage payment.
2) Make a will and a health care directive. I'm working on this. So I give 50% success rate.

I'm content with the success rate of personal, home, and financial goals, but not with the goals in the garden category.  I hope I can be more productive in the garden in 2020!

  1. You've made great progress towards your goals, Nil. The garden will be there in the new year waiting for tree planting and fence building. I want to plant a second citrus tree in our garden next year but will have to wait for the Springtime so, until then, it remains an empty spot covered with mulch. Wishing you a lovely beginning to the new decade to come. MegXx
